On Thursday 5th November, Stoke Mandeville Stadium will play host to the Bucks Basketball Association’s (BBA) first Year 7 Development Day.
Supported by LEAP and Basketball England this event is free to all participants. Many of the players attending the Year 7 Development Day have already participated in a new Under 11 County Basketball Programme which was launched earlier this year.
The day will see between 150 and 200 year 7 pupils competing in teams over a round robin tournament. The winners will be presented with a trophy by Dru Spinks, a hugely experienced and successful professional basketballer.
