The first ever County Performance Centre (CPC) session in England got off to a fantastic start this past Sunday with 30 young people attending the 1998 Born Boys session for what would be the first of several pilot sessions of this pioneering new programme.
For those unaware the purpose of this programme is to identify those with particular talent and potential in basketball early and provide them with sound fundamental coaching focused around individual performance ahead of County Squad selections later in the year. The CPC will be the primary, but not sole, source of players for the County Squad. Current trialists will be receiving an email shortly informing them of the next trials date.
